Eli Soehren threw three touchdown passes, all in the first half, as Oxford Hills took control early and went on to defeat Windham, 42-7, in an interclass football game Friday night in Paris.

Soehren hit all seven of his first-half passes for 196 yards as the Vikings (7-0) built a 35-7 lead. His scoring passes were 26 yards to Tanner Bickford and 33 and 15 yards to Teigan Pelletier.

Trey Morrison added scoring runs of 1 and 11 yards, and Grayson Foster caught a late 27-yard TD pass from Brady Truman as the top-ranked team in the Varsity Maine poll remained Class A’s only undefeated team.

Alex Yeaton scored on a 60-yard run for Class B Windham (4-3) in the final minute of the first quarter.

NOBLE 33, DEERING 0: Jamier Rose ran for four touchdowns, including a 95-yard sprint down the left sideline, to lead the Knights (1-6) past the Rams (1-6) in Portland.

Rose scored on runs of 16 and 1 yard in the second quarter to help Noble build a 14-0 halftime lead.

After quarterback Thomas Gagnon scored from the 3, Rose went 95 yards to make it 27-0. Rose added a 19-yard touchdown run in the final quarter.

Caleb Herbert converted three extra-point kicks, and Gagnon rushed for more than 100 yards.

Deering has been shut out in four of its six losses.

MASSABESIC 28, BIDDEFORD 19: Caleb Waters and Collin Scully scored first-quarter touchdowns as the Mustangs (5-2) took early control against the Tigers (3-4) at Waterboro.

MT. ARARAT/HYDE 36, WATERVILLE 8: Shea Farrell scored four touchdowns – two on runs and two on receptions – as the Eagles (6-1) handled the Purple Panthers (4-2) at Topsham.

Farrell had TD runs of 43 and 47 yards, and hauled in touchdown receptions of 15 and 26 yards from Mack Wilkins. He also ran in three 2-point conversions.

Dash Farrell added a 7-yard run that broke a scoreless tie with 8:39 left in the half. The Eagles led 14-0 at the break.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

SANFORD 6, MASSABESIC 1: Ailey Mann scored two goals and Hailey Tarbox had three assists as the Spartans (7-5-1) handled the Mustangs (1-11) in Sanford.

Mann headed in two well-placed corner kicks by Tarbox, the first at 11:46 to make it 1-1, and the second to give Sanford a 4-1 lead 16:43 into the second half.

Tarbox also set up Kenzie Taylor, who completed a long breakaway run for Sanford’s third goal 7:18 into the second half.

Emerson Tolpin had a goal and an assist. Tolpin passed a free kick to Ava Hudson, who scored from 28 yards just before halftime, then finished a breakaway with just under 10 minutes left for the final goal.

Audrey Cote also scored, redirecting a cross from Mia Kane, who collected a long throw-in from Brooke Berren.

Massabesic’s Sydney Cyr intercepted a clearing attempt and scored from 12 yards just 2:15 into the game.

BOYS’ SOCCER

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 4, WELLS 0: Matteo Spuell netted a pair of goals as the Raiders (8-5) beat the Warriors (3-11) in Fryeburg.

Pato Hernandez and Matteo LaPorta also scored.
