As a Falmouth resident and president of the National Association of Social Work, Maine Chapter, I urge all to vote for Democrat Teresa Pierce for Senate District 25 (Falmouth, Cumberland, North Yarmouth, Gray, Long Island and most of Yarmouth).
Teresa has received a National Association of Social Work, Maine Chapter, endorsement based on her values, her ability to work across political lines and her strong leadership skills, demonstrated over the past decade in Falmouth and the state Legislature.
As the recent House chair of the Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee, Teresa championed the passage of a strong bipartisan budget that included expansion of the Children’s Health Insurance Program to cover an additional 40,000 children; increased funding for behavioral health and education, and investment in community treatment options for substance use disorder.
