Portland-based acoustic folk singer-songwriter Isaiah Bennett released the track “Back Porch Angel” a couples of months ago, and the video has amassed more than 13,000 views on YouTube.
In 2014, Bennett was a contestant on “American Idol” and lasted several rounds. That same year, he released his debut EP “Horizons,” followed by “Vessels” in 2016 and “Grow Up Fine” last year.
Since then, there’s been a handful of singles, including “Back Porch Angel.” The song is a sweet-as-pie, country-leaning love song featuring slide guitar and Bennett’s clear, full voice.
