Old Orchard Beach native Mike Rague is the new branch manager in Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution Old Orchard Beach branch. Additionally, SBSI has named Tyler Lebel is the new assistant branch manager.

Previous to his promotion, Rague held the title of assistant branch manager. A graduate of Old Orchard Beach High School and Emmanuel College, Rague has only ever worked on Orchard Street.

“Applying at SBSI was one of the best decisions I ever made,” he said. “Finding a career in my hometown gave me the opportunity to serve the communities I grew up in and I love so much.” As Old Orchard Beach grows, Rague said his goal is to listen to the people, businesses and organizations as they continue to expand and find ways SBSI can help.

Tyler Lebel has filled the assistant branch manager position. Lebel is a 2015 Thornton Academy graduate and attended Merrimack College where he earned an Accounting degree. He joined SBSI as a seasonal employee and then became a full-time customer relationship associate.

“I have exceptional co-workers,” said Lebel, “and I’ve had the chance to work in every one of our branches. The customers we have in Old Orchard have deep community roots, and that’s what I love most about working in this location.” Lebel said he is committed to providing the best service possible and plans to immerse himself in the community.

These changes in management follow Carolyn Lamontagne’s retirement. Lamontagne provided unwavering dedication and remarkable service to the Old Orchard Beach community for 43 years.
