While Avery Yale Kamila’s column in last Sunday’s paper (“Try a vegan charcuterie board for your Super Bowl party,” Feb. 5) was interesting, the writer and her editor missed an important point.
“Charcuterie” is a French term for prepared meat products. It’s not possible to have a vegan charcuterie board. A vegan charcuterie board is truly a misnomer. Really, it’s just simply a vegan appetizer board.
This is not a touchdown! I call a foul.
