An ice fishing open house will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, on Long Lake in Naples.

Instructors will be on hand to teach the basics to newcomers, and more experienced participants can take the opportunity to fish. Food and drink will be served and warming huts are available. Everything is free, but donations are accepted.

The event will be held directly off Kent’s Landing; look for the Veterans’ Ice Hut with the American flag. Parking will be available in the Kent’s Landing parking lot and another lot will be cleared to the left of the boat ramp.

The open house is sponsored by the Naples Recreation Department, Sebago Lake Anglers’ Association and American Legion Posts 148 and 155.
