The proposed legislation to expand abortion rights in Maine into the third trimester must be voted down.
If my desire to be heard as an individual is supposed to be protected by law and represented by my elected officials, then that voice most certainly should be heard first from the womb of the pre-born baby.
I recently had the privilege to attend a “Speak Up For Life” rally in my hometown. This group consciously encourages attendees to make their voices heard in defense and support of the pre-born, whose voices assuredly matter but otherwise may not ever be heard.
Now is the opportunity to speak up for life because every life matters. If more people do not speak up for life, there will be a silence so loud that it will be heard throughout all of eternity.
