I can’t believe the rhetoric I am hearing about ending support for Ukraine because we need to spend that money at home. I am disgusted by the lack of humanity.
None of these people can understand what is at stake. We all go home every day to a nice warm home. The people of Ukraine either live in their cellars for months on end or see their homes blown to bits.
Our state and federal governments can waste billions of dollars on pet projects that don’t help our human condition. The members of the Maine Legislature should talk to our senators, who have visited Ukraine. They might learn something about humanity.
