Here’s a chance to see a real ace of bass, as internationally touring blues and rock singer and bassist Danielle Nicole plays a show in Rockland with her band. Nicole was a member of Trampled Under Foot with her brothers before going solo in 2015. She’s since released three albums, and her debut, “Wolf Den,” made it to the No. 2 spot of Billboard’s Top Blues Albums chart in 2015. “Cry No More” (2018) debuted at No. 1 on that same chart and earned her a Grammy nomination. Singer-songwriter Eric Andersen turned 80 this year. His debut album was released in 1965 while he was in the thick of Greenwich Village’s storied folk music scene. Through the years, his songs have been played live and recorded by an impressive list of artists, including Judy Collins, Johnny Cash and The Grateful Dead. Andersen taught himself how to play the piano and guitar and has released 25 albums. Bob Dylan is one of his many fans.

Roots and folk act The Wood Brothers is Chris Wood on upright bass, his brother, Oliver Wood, on acoustic and electric guitars, and drummer Jano Rix. The band’s eighth album, “Heart Is The Hero,” was released in April. They chose to record it on 16-track tape to capture the essence of live performances. Arrive on time to see opener Shovels & Rope, the married folk rock duo of Cary Ann Hearts and Michael Trent.
