The Fall Maine Sacred Music Conference will take place Oct. 12-14 at Sacred Heart Church in Yarmouth and include a variety of workshops designed for directors of music, cantors and choir members from throughout New England.

“Fundamentals of Singing” will be held on Oct. 12, teaching healthy singing techniques, vowel formation, intonation and more. On Oct. 13, the workshop will be “Introduction to Chant,  and on Oct. 14 “Fundamentals of Music Theory” and “Transformative Cantoring.” Michael and Angela Rocchio, founders of the International Chant Academy, will lead training sessions throughout the weekend.

Participants will be invited to perform with the Sacred Heart Choir at Masses on the three days of the conference.
