This year’s dinner will be served rain or shine, sit-down, dine-in with an option to take home. Payment will be cash only. The cost will be $12 for adults, $8 for younger than age 10. Meals will be served on a first-come, first-served basis until food runs out; no tickets, no reservations. The sanctuary will be used for any waiting lines.

The meal will include spaghetti (with meat sauce or a non-meat sauce), salad, garlic bread, beverages (for dine-in) and homemade cookies. Dine-in will be buffet style. The take-out meals will be boxed by church members, who will adhere to all food handling and sanitary precautions.

The dinner is a fundraiser sponsored by the church’s Men’s Fellowship.

American Legion Post 413 to host art fair

Stewart Morrill American Legion Post 413 will host an art fair on Saturday, Sept. 16. The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Avita of Stroudwater, whose therapeutic art classes are a favorite activity for residents, will be the beneficiary of the event.

The art fair will feature many local artists, including Diane Atwood, Paul Devive, Don Durnam and Fred Mafigri.
