Elijah Garnett rushed for 250 yards and four touchdowns, and Nic Visser completed 12 of 16 passes for 145 yards and three touchdowns as Husson set a program record for points in a game, beating Dean College, 75-17 on Friday in Bangor.

Jed Lober ran for 95 yards and two touchdowns for Husson (4-1). Max Clark went 4 of 4 for 95 yards and one touchdown pass.

Dean College is 1-4.

MEN’S BASKETBALL: Kansas basketball player Arterio Morris was charged with one count of rape and dismissed from the Jayhawks’ program, the latest in a string of legal trouble that has followed the former prep standout from his days at Texas.

Morris was booked in Douglas County and his bond was set at $75,000, public records showed.

His arrest came after an incident report came to light this month that detailed an alleged rape that occurred at McCarthy Hall, which houses the men’s basketball team along with other residents and is located near Allen Fieldhouse.

• UConn center Donovan Clingan injured his right foot in practice this week and is expected to be sidelined for about a month, the school announced.The school described the injury as a “foot strain” and said the 7-foot-2 sophomore is expected to be ready for the Nov. 6 season opener against Northern Arizona.

FOOTBALL

JURISPRUDENCE: A Tennessee judge said Friday she is ending a conservatorship agreement between former NFL player Michael Oher and a Memphis couple who took him in when he was in high school, but the highly-publicized dispute over financial issues will continue.

Shelby County Probate Court Judge Kathleen Gomes said she is terminating the agreement reached in 2004 that allowed Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy to control Oher’s finances. Oher signed the agreement when he was 18 and living with the couple as he was being recruited by colleges as a star high school football player. Their story is the subject of the film “The Blind Side, which earned Sandra Bullock an Oscar.

BASKETBALL

NBA: The league suspended former San Antonio Spurs guard Joshua Primo for four games without pay for conduct detrimental to the league.
League investigators said that Primo engaged in inappropriate behavior by exposing himself to women. Primo insists his conduct was not intentional, the league said, and investigators found no evidence that he engaged in any misconduct apart from the brief exposures.

WNBA: Breanna Stewart had 25 points and 11 rebounds, and the New York Liberty beat the Connecticut Sun 92-81 in Uncasville, Connecticut to take a 2-1 lead in their best-of-five WNBA semifinal series.

Betnijah Laney scored 20 points, Sabrina Ionescu had 16 and Courtney Vandersloot added 12 for New York, which never trailed. The Liberty can close out the series Sunday on the same court.

HOCKEY

NHL: The Minnesota Wild signed right wings Mats Zuccarello and Marcus Foligno to contract extensions, further solidifying their forward group beyond this season.

• The Ottawa Senators hired Steve Staios as their new president of hockey operations, the latest major hire made by new owner Michael Andlauer since taking control of the team.

BOXING

HEAVYWEIGHT TITLES: Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have agreed to fight in Saudi Arabia in the first bout this century to unify all of the major heavyweight boxing titles.

Fury holds the WBC version of the heavyweight title and Usyk has the IBF, WBA and WBO belts. Fury’s British promoter Frank Warren announced the fight in a statement which did not give a date for the bout but said it will be held in the Saudi Arabian capital city of Riyadh.
