With all the deserved attention to the homeless struggling in Portland and statewide, why have we not heard about our U.S. senators and representatives meeting the homeless to hear firsthand from the people most affected?
Sens. Susan Collins and Angus King and Reps. Chellie Pingree and Jared Golden should visit with these people and make recommendations on what we all can do to help.
