The annual Standish Public Safety Fair takes place is this Saturday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Town Hall.

The fire department will give a demonstration of a fryer fire and raffle off a chance to ride to school in a fire truck. There will also be a a K-9 demonstration, an obstacle course to run with fire gear on, a bounce house, hay rides to a pumpkin patch, ice cream and a bicycle raffle.
