LAKELAND, Fla. – Edward Wilfred Lemire Jr., a prominent businessman, entrepreneur, and beloved family man, passed away peacefully on Nov. 20, 2023, in Lakeland, Fla.
Born on June 2, 1939, to Edward Lemire Sr. and Yvonne (Nolette) Lemire, in Biddeford.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Carole Lemire (Peirson); his children Doug (Susan) Lemire, Deborah Bailey; his sister, Jeannine Leone; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Clark; as well as his deceased wife, Nell.
Edward took immense pride in his role as a grandfather to Ryan Lemire and a great-grandfather to Jaelyn, Brooklin, and Skye. His love for his family was boundless, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A graveside service will be held Friday May 31, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford. U.S. Air Force honors will conclude the service.
Dennett, Craig and Pate Funeral Home, Saco, are entrusted with his services.
