GORHAM – Marie N. Vollkommer died peacefully on May 24, 2024.
She was born to Edward and Anna Noll on Oct. 24, 1934 in Queens, N.Y. On Sept. 11, 1954, she married the love of her life, James A. Vollkommer. They had four children together.
She was predeceased by her husband James A., (April 12, 2023); her son, James J., (May 8, 1998); her sister, Geraldine Conlin; and daughter-in-law, Patricia Szczesiul.
She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Vollkommer, Elizabeth and William Wilson, Ursula (Mark) Haley; granddaughters Nicole (Thane) Schuning, Leah (Ellie) Duff-Wilson; great-granddaughter, Gwen Schuning; and her sister, Rita Koenig.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Marie’s name to Hospice of Southern Maine or the American Diabetes Association
