Richard Shane
WINDHAM – Richard “Dicky” Eldon Shane passed into eternity on Oct. 11, 2023.
He was predeceased by his wife, Carol Shane; his son, Darren Shane; and his beloved dog, Brady.
The family were residents of Gray. Dicky did a tour in the army in the ’70s. He was a lifelong mason and bricklayer by trade. He was also a member of the Gray Legion American Post #86.
Dicky had recently moved to Texas to be with his sister, Adrianne Shane Campbell and her family.
Dicky had a niece, Angela Winters and a nephew, Rick Campbell; as well as 11 great-nieces and nephews who will miss him terribly.
Sadly his longtime struggle with diabetes and heart disease cut his time with his family short.
A celebration of his life will be held at Wilson funeral home on June 8 at 11 a.m.
