Southern Maine Health Care opening walk-in care facility
Walk-in care is coming to Sanford this fall when Southern Maine Health Care opens the city’s first walk-in care facility.
Located at 25A June St., at the Goodall Medical Office Building, the clinic will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week. The facility is available to anyone seeking nonemergency care for minor medical conditions such as colds, flu, sore throats, strains and sprains, ear, eye or sinus infections, cuts and abrasions.
No appointment is necessary, and walk-in care costs are comparable to an office visit.
SMHC also has walk-in care centers in Kennebunk, Saco and Waterboro.
