A vigil was held Wednesday in Portland’s Monument Square to remember victims of drug overdoses. The event was held as part of International Overdose Awareness Day, which is always Aug. 31.
Portland’s event has been organized by a 10-person, Portland-based volunteer organization called “I Am Here.”
This year’s vigil was the third annual Overdose Awareness gathering.
