SOUTH BERWICK — One person sustained minor injuries in a head-on collision Saturday morning.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 8:30 a.m. on Route 236 near Academy Street, police said. Two ambulances responded and crews used “jaws of life” equipment to pry out the trapped motorist, they said.
A dispatcher said Saturday night that one person was taken to the hospital, treated and released and did not appear to have serious injuries.
No further details were available Saturday night, the dispatcher said.
