Lacrosse officiating classes offered
The Maine Women’s Lacrosse Officials’ Association is offering new umpire classes for adults. Classes will be held at Thornton Academy and Brunswick High School on Monday nights through March 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. and at Falmouth High School on Thursday nights through March 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. New officials must attend a minimum of three classes to qualify for the 2015 season. All newly trained umpires will receive instructions on how to register with U.S. Lacrosse. The cost for the course is $45 and is non-refundable. FMI, 721-0708 or mainewloa.com.
