Carol Taylor Aderman of Abenaki Retirement Investment Services, a member of the Brunswick Rotary Club, reads to first-graders  at Williams-Cone School in Topsham on March 3. She was one of 220 volunteers who read in classrooms and child-care centers in Sagadahoc and Lincoln counties, as well as Brunswick and Harpswell, as part of United Way of Mid Coast Maine’s 15th annual Community Read Aloud. Volunteers visited more than 3,450 children, the organization reported.
