BRUNSWICK — The Police Department is looking for volunteers March 13-16 to help gather information for an upcoming parking audit by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The town was recently awarded technical support for the audit by the EPA’s Building Blocks for Sustainable Communities program.

Cpt. Mark Waltz said the department needs 10 people hourly to evaluate downtown parking availability during the survey. The information will be used by the EPA when it conducts the audit in April, and will help the town determine future plans for downtown parking.

Prospective volunteers can sign up at http://www.volunteerspot.com/login/entry/214464118068. Once volunteers have signed up, they will receive a set of instructions and survey sheets via e-mail.

For more information, call Waltz at 725-6670.
