Freeport’s election process is supposed to be a non-partisan exercise in selecting the candidate who best represents our own thoughts and ones who will participate in municipal government with clarity, integrity and maturity.
Kate Arno, the senior manager/senior policy associate at the Muskie School of Public Service at USM, is an advocate for smart, realistic taxes; small business development, and sustainable protection for our valued natural resources in Freeport. A Mainer all her life, Kate has the unique quality of being both an outstanding leader and a person who functions very well working within the parameters of a board or group.
Vote for clarity in representation and support candidates who are not tethered to select, agenda-driven advocates. It’s important that all of our perspectives are being given even weight and fair representation. Arno would do just that.
