John Christie will be a tremendous asset to the Cape Elizabeth School Board. As a career educator and principal at Casco Bay High School in Portland, I know how much our students and staff depend on School Board members to be smart, collaborative, financially savvy and passionate about both kids and quality education. John teems with all of these qualities.
As the CFO of a successful technology start-up, John has to be both practical and innovative. With two students in Pond Cove Elementary School, John possesses a durable commitment to Cape schools that will help the system both endure the recession and prepare for the future.
I have known John since our college days at Brown University, and though his accomplishments range from manager to lobsterman, John’s integrity is even more impressive than this resume.
Please support him on Nov. 3.
