SCARBOROUGH — The School Board hopes to assemble 15-17 residents and school staff on an ad-hoc Screening Committee to search for new superintendent.
Selected members of the committee will work with Dr. Ken DeBenedictis, the search consultant hired from the New England School Development Council, to sift through potential candidates before deciding which people to interview.
Committee members must be available to attend mandatory meetings in late March, and for candidate interviews during the week of March 28. The committee will then recommend candidates for further review by the School Board.
Interested residents should contact Kelley Johnston, at kjohnston@scarboroughschools.org. An online survey will also be available to residents who wish to take part in the superintendent search process, and can be accessed on the district website, at scarboroughschools.org.
