I am pleased to write in support of Rep. Teresa Pierce’s re-election in Maine House District 44.
Teresa has established a long and impressive track record of working for Maine and for Falmouth through her two terms on the Town Council and successful first term in Augusta.
In particular, I admire Teresa’s many efforts to improve the quality of life and education for all Maine children. Teresa has sought to highlight our critical need for high-quality early childhood education, to reduce childhood hunger, improve high school graduation standards, lower post-secondary student debt, and strengthen our university system. Teresa recognizes that these efforts are not only the right thing to do, but they are right for Maine, helping us to build a strong economy with a skilled workforce for the 21st century and beyond.
