Merton and Catherine Johnson, in front row, were presented with a special legislative recognition acknowledging the celebration of their 70th wedding anniversary. The Johnsons are lifelong residents of Windham, and both graduated from Windham High School, Merton in 1933 and Catherine in 1934. Their family recently joined them at their home for the special presentation made by State Sen. Bill Diamond, Rep. Gary Plummer and Rep. Mark Bryant.
