Cutline: Steamboats long plied the waters of Long and Sebago lakes and Brandy Pond. This one, seen in the late 1800s near the Naples Causeway and opening bridge over the Chute River, is either taking passengers from the Bay of Naples Hotel in the background back to Casco Bay or a group of tourists through the Songo Locks. The hotel was razed in the mid 1960s. Photo courtesy the Naples Historical Society.
