The Westbrook American reported on Feb. 21, 1962, that Superintendent Dwight Webb proposed a $476,6345 school budget, with a town share of $296,847. Ernest Todd, chairman of the school budget committee, said the budget was being studied and it hadn’t made a recommendation.
