SACO — Sharon A. Whitten, 65, of Saco, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

SACO — Sharon A. Whitten, 65, of Saco, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

She was born in Biddeford on Jan. 25, 1950, a daughter of Harley and Florence (Lowell) Grant. She graduated from Biddeford High School, Class of 1968. She also received an associate degree from Seacoast Career Scho ols.

Sharon owned and operated Classic Reality in Biddeford for several years. Most recently she was a real estate broker for Maine Real Estate Network in Saco.

Mrs. Whitten was a devoted and active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Saco.

She dearly enjoyed her service to Jehovah, spending time with her grandsons and traveling.

She is preceded in death by: one sister, Shirley; and one brother, Harley.

She is survived by: her husband of 41 years, Russell B. Whitten; her two sons, Rusty and Jason Whitten; and two grandsons, Emery and Ryder. She is also survived by: eight sisters, Helen, Dorothy, Judith, Irene, Alice, Betty, Norma, and Phyllis; six brothers, Arthur, Willis, Nathan, Paul, Roger, and Robert; and several nieces and nephews.

The time and date for her services have yet to be determined.

Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Saco.
