BIDDEFORD — Marguerite P. (Roy) Paquette, 90, of Biddeford died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, at St. Andre’s Health Care Facility in Biddeford after a long illness.

She was born in Biddeford on May 5, 1926, the daughter of Arthur and Marie Laure (Labrecque) Roy and was educated in Biddeford schools.

On May 5, 1945 she married Rosaire J. Paquette in St. Joseph Church.

Mrs. Paquette worked in the public sector all of her life to include the S & H Green Stamp store and Reilly’s Bakery in Biddeford, where she was a sales clerk.

Marguerite was preceded in death by: Rosaire, her husband of 63 years, July 4, 2008; also by her sister, Lorraine Janelle; and brothers, Leo Paul and Renald Roy.

She is survived by: a son, Roger R. Paquette and his wife, Denise, of Biddeford; two daughters, Suzanne Sexton and her husband, Grady, of Biddeford, and Lucille Anken and her husband, Timothy, of Florida; and two sisters, Madeleine L. Langley of Dayton and Simone M. Gadbois and her husband, Robert, of Biddeford.

Visiting hours will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, Jan. 14, at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
