Sanford

Coach: Mark Boissonneault

Last year’s record: 4-12

Key returning players: Xavier Chase, Frankie Veino, Tylar Burgess, James Roche, Brad Bouchard

Key newcomers: Nate Martineau, Shawn Merrifield, Tye Laviolette

Coach’s outlook: Pitching is the biggest question of this team. Frankie Veino has the potential to be a legit number 1 one. After that there are many questions. Brad Bouchard, Mike Ravesi and newcomer Shawn Merrifield need to step up on the mound for Sanford to compete. Merrifield has not played since his freshmen year and has the makeup to be that other pitcher that Sanford needs. Defensively, Sanford is solid with Roche, Chase, Ravesi, Martineau, and Veino and Keith Kerrigan make up the infield with Matt Webber, Bouchard, Devin Gouin, and Laviolette rounding up the outfield. Burgess could be one of the better catchers in the league this year.
