ARUNDEL — David Webster Sr., 74, of Arundel, died Sunday evening, Dec. 13, 2015, at his home .

He was born May 29, 1941, in Bartlett, New Hampshire, a son of Richard and Edith (Atwell) Webster. He came to Sanford as a child and was educated there.

David studied culinary arts in North Carolina and worked a few years as a chef in a boys’ school in Massachusetts. For over 40 years, he was employed as a Class A machinist with General Dynamics (Saco- Lowell, Maremont, and Saco Defense). He retired in his early sixties.

On March 15, 1985, he married Monique LeBlanc at her home in Wells.

With a great love of hunting and fishing, he became a member of the Saco Yacht Club and the York County Fish and Game Club.

David was preceded in death by: a son, Dale Webster; two grandsons, Kenneth Webster, and Aiden Martin; and a brother, James Webster.

He is survived by: his wife of 30 years, Monique Webster of Arundel; a son, David Webster Jr. of Arundel; adopted son, Nicholas Webster of Arizona; step-son, Charles Martin; step-daughter, Charlene Martin; grandsons, Evan and Ryan Martin, Forrest and Ryver Daigle, and Colby Webster; two brothers, Richard and Claude Webster; four sisters, Ruth James, Marion Sherman, Patricia Waddington, and Kate Erroll; and many nieces and nephews.
