Gorham police say the man killed in an early morning crash is a local 18-year-old.
Police identified the man killed in the single-car crash on Dyer Road as Chandler Hamilton.
The crash was reported at 5:30 a.m. today. Police said the crash is under investigation.
Hamilton was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Emergency workers are on the scene of a fatal crash on Dyer Road in Gorham that claimed the life of the lone male driver.
Authorities say the crash was reported by a passerby at about 5:30 a.m., though the caller did not witness the crash so it is unclear when precisely it occurred.
Police say the car hit a tree on a straight stretch of road. Officers are reconstructing the crash now.
There was no immediate word on what might have contributed to the crash.
