The in-person SoundCheck series continues in Camden with a performance by Winter Harbor-based singer-songwriter Gordon Thomas Ward. He’s proficient on the six-, eight- and 12-string guitars, and his latest album is last year’s “Eiderdown,” home to songs like “The Ballad of Joseph Taylor” and “Just For You.” If you’d rather stick close to home, the show will also be livestreamed on the venue’s Facebook page.

You can take your mom for Mother’s Day, or just go with a friend, to see Don Campbell Band in one of two shows at Jonathan’s in Ogunquit. The singer-songwriter has released a dozen albums through the years and is one of Maine’s most popular artists. You can expect a show that blends Campbell originals with well-chosen covers. Can’t make it to Ogunquit? Campbell and company kick off a series of monthly outdoor shows at Scarborough’s Clambake Restaurant on May 22.

You don’t need to know your way to San Jose and you don’t even need to say a little prayer to see this Mother’s Day show from living legend Dionne Warwick. What the world needs now is love, sweet love, and you can find it by choosing either the afternoon on evening performance. Oh and hey, Alfie, a portion of each ticket sold will benefit the Opera House.
