The Portland Police Department put out a call for help to find 67-year-old Mary Odano earlier this month. She was last seen in the vicinity of 605 Stevens Ave., near Evergreen Cemetery and Mayor Baxter Woods, around 1 p.m. on Jan. 27. The National Weather Service reported that day that the high temperature in Portland was 22 degrees and the low was -3 degrees.

Police found her body a week later, but provided little information at the time. Maj. Robert Martin said Friday that an autopsy determined her cause of death was accidental exposure and not suspicious. He also said police found Odano near maintenance equipment outside her home on McAuley Way.

Martin said he would not be releasing any other details about the circumstances of her death.
