Police are investigating a home invasion that took place Sunday night at a mobile home in South Berwick.
The incident at 11 Vine St. occurred around 7 p.m., when two men entered the home, according to a news release from the South Berwick Police Department.
One of the men reportedly showed a knife. They ransacked the home and appeared to be searching for very specific items, said police, who did not indicate whether anything was taken.
A woman at the home suffered minor injuries. She was evaluated by medical personnel but was not transported to a hospital.
Police said the intruders were described as white, in their mid-20s to 30s, and wearing bluejeans, tan work boots and dark colored sweatshirts with hoods. One man may have had some facial hair.
The Wells Police Department assisted in a search of the area, using dogs.
Police said they do not believe the invasion was a random act, and are asking anyone with information to call them at 384-2222.
