A dead person was discovered Saturday outside a house at 160 Drummond Ave. in Waterville, according to police.
The body was reported to police at 1 p.m., according to a news release from Deputy Chief Charles Rumsey, and the department’s Detective Division was investigating the case with help from the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit.
“More information will be released as it becomes available and appropriate,” the release said.
The address in question was the site of a major fire two years ago Friday. At the time, the building had housed Grenier’s Classic Flooring for 11 years. The fire destroyed a large barn and buildings that contained equipment and flooring materials, and it damaged the house.
