Westbrook voters reject school budget with 15.7% tax hike
This is the first time since 2008 that citizens failed a school budget referendum.
Gorham school budget passes by 4 votes; Sato wins House nomination
The $53.4 million school budget passed just 1,827 to 1,823. Superintendent Heather Perry said this signals that officials “still have work to do” to create a sustainable financial environment.
