Farmington man to serve 3 years for dealing heroin

Mark Barrett brought the drug from Massachusetts a few times a week to sell in the Farmington area.

They heard gunfire before Sokha Khuon, 36, was found dead in the home on Dorothy Street that she shared with her family.

Police say Sarah Riggens committed the crimes in a private home but they decline to reveal the number of victims or their ages.

Kenneth Hatch went on trial in November on 22 charges, including child sex abuse, and was found not guilty of two.

A 19-year-old former student was also charged with trafficking after police said he provided the candies.

The suspect reportedly showed a firearm Tuesday and made off with an unknown amount of cash.

Richard Lupo II was being held on $50,000 cash bail after being arrested by Penobscot County deputies in connection with the crash in August.
