After being trapped for nearly two hours, Central Maine Power crews were able to turn the power off, and Farmingdale firefighters were able to extricate Cotnoir and his wife, Sara, and their daughters, Skye and Ella. No one in the West Gardiner family, who were returning from church services, was injured.
