About 200 neighbors and friends of Mike Davidson gather for Thursday's vigil in the neighborhood in Windham where his family lives.

The 200 people who gathered for the vigil watch the release of balloons representing the crew members of the El Faro, and a red, white and blue balloon representing the ship.
People place candles beside a small memorial after Thursday night's vigil for Mike Davidson. People lit the candles while one of Davidson's nieces released a cluster of 34 balloons into the sky, one for each of the 33 lost crew members and one for the vessel.
