    Almost all of the volunteers who showed up at the Sourthern Maine Memorial Cemetery in Springvale on Saturday, May 27, 2017 were part of the Rivard family. The patriarch of the clan, Henry Rivard, served in World War I and has a special gravestone in the cemetery.

    Ron RIvard already has plans to return to the veterans cemetery at 9 a.m. on May 26, 2018. "And what if we're not here," his brother asked. "If you're not here, we'll be sure to flag your grave," Rivard replied.
