House vote results on the proposal to restore municipal revenue-sharing: VoteTrac
L.D. 1762 would take $40 million from two state accounts, including the rainy day fund, to balance the state budget and forestall a proposal to take the $40 million from state aid to cities and towns. Additional votes will be required by both chamber of the Legislature before the bill passes.

Details of the roll call vote on authorizing ‘dental therapists’: VoteTrac
L.D. 1230, sponsored by House Speaker Mark Eves, D-North Berwick, would create a new dental health position in the state, a “mid-level dental therapist.” Proponents say the bill is an attempt to increase access to dental care, especially in rural areas. Additional votes are required before the bill goes to Gov. Paul LePage.
