Augusta weighs using $75,000 of pandemic relief funds to clean up homeless encampments
City councilors could vote Thursday to put some of Augusta’s American Rescue Plan Act funds toward cleaning up trash and hazardous materials from homeless encampments. The capital city has already spent more than $33,000 on clean ups this year.
