BATH — The art gallery at the Chocolate Church Arts Center has been closed for more than a year while moving from another building and undergoing extensive renovation.
The gallery, at 804 Washington St., will reopen with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. The first show in the new space is “Watermarks: Recent Painting by Stuart Ross.” Ross is a widely known Bath artist.

The exhibition will remain on view through July 10. Regular gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; noon to 7 p.m. Thursday; and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.
