GORHAM — Lindsay Smith and Mia Rapolla scored six goals each Friday to lead Gorham to a 16-14 victory against Cheverus in a schoolgirl lacrosse game.

Kali St. Germain added a goal and four assists for the Rams (10-2).

For Cheverus (7-4), Brianna Amato scored seven goals and Emily Van Duser added four.

PORTLAND 9, SOUTH PORTLAND 8: Nancy McAdam scored the winning goal and Drew Barry created a turnover in the final minute to allow the Bulldogs (7-4) to run the clock out against the Red Riots (6-5) at Portland.

Catherine Flaherty led Portland with three goals. McAdam and Barry added two apiece.

Katie Lagios and Nikki LaPlante scored twice each for South Portland.

MASSABESIC 14, SANFORD 1: Jenna Cyr scored seven goals to lead Massabesic (5-5) over the Redskins (7-4) at Sanford.

Amber Rollins and Nikki Smith added two goals each for the Mustangs.

Sarah Alexander scored for Sanford.

BONNY EAGLE 13, MCAULEY 3: Kate Boyer scored six goals as Bonny Eagle (4-7) downed McAuley (3-9) at Standish.

WESTBROOK 7, BIDDEFORD 3: Ciera Belino scored five goals and Lizzy Conley had 12 stops as the Blue Blazes (4-8) beat Biddeford (2-10) at Westbrook.

WINDHAM 10, NOBLE 2: Sam Gifford scored three goals and assisted on another as the Eagles (8-3-1) downed the Knights (0-12) at Windham.

Kelsey McGowan added a goal and an assist for Windham.

China Page finished with 30 saves, and Kayla Lambert and Abby Lizotte scored for the Knights.


FALMOUTH 14, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 6: Will Sipperly, Dan Hanley and Nick Bachman each had three goals and one assist to lead the Yachtsmen (9-2) past the Panthers (4-7) at Falmouth.

Tim Millett scored twice for NYA.

WAYNFLETE 15, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2: Matt Butler and Chris Burke scored five goals apiece for the Flyers (8-3), who took an 8-0 halftime lead and cruised past the Raiders (2-10) at Fryeburg.

Burke also had four assists, and Josiah Baker added two goals and three assists for Waynflete.

Gage Sellers and Matt Genest scored for Fryeburg.
