SOUTH PORTLAND — Augusta Post 205 ended Nova Seafood’s two-year reign as American Legion baseball state champions today.
Augusta Post 205, the Zone 2 runners-up, collected 19 hits in a 16-7 win against the Zone 4 champions, made up primarily of players from Deering High School.
It was Nova Seafood’s second loss in the double-elimination tournament, which concludes Sunday at the Wainwright Sports Complex.
