The morning commute was slowed this morning for drivers attempting to cross Veteran’s Bridge.
A three-car car accident at 8:00 a.m. on the northend of the northbound span of the bridge prompted both Portland and South Portland to send rescue vehicles.

There were no serious injuries. One person was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
